ROCKY WHATULE BIO :
Rocky Whatule is God’s gift to clean, high-energy comedy. A performer who connects with audiences of all ages, Rocky delivers uplifting, relatable humor that entertains without crossing the line. A member of the United States Karate Team and a three-time WKC World Champion, Rocky brings the same discipline and intensity from the dojo to the stage—turning punches into punchlines and life experiences into unforgettable stories.
With television appearances on Sullivan & Son, Friends, MTV’s Rob & Big, The Jamie Kennedy Xperiment, Showtime, and as former host of the TV series Sunset Stripped, as well as the radio segment The Hollywood Rockin’ Wrap-Up, Rocky is a veteran entertainer with over 30 years of professional experience in comedy and media. Even though he has lived in Los Angeles for the past 26 years, Rocky was born and raised in western Pennsylvania and still considers himself an East Coaster at heart. As he likes to say, “Yinz can take the boy out of the ’Burg, but you can’t take the ’Burg out of the boy!”
His comedy draws from real life—single and married life, family, friendships, everyday observations, and even human (and animal) behavior—delivered with infectious energy that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish. Rocky has toured across the United States and over eight countries, performing live for more than a quarter of a million people. Known for bringing laughter to everyone he has ever met, audiences agree: “Once Rocky has your attention, you’ll never want the show to end.” Another says, “It’s like going to church… except you laugh more and you don’t fall asleep.”
In addition to being an award winning martial artist, Rocky is a multi talented entertainer and has been considered one of the hardest working men in Show business, However he believes his greatest God-given gift is the ability to make people laugh. The Bible says, “A joyful heart is good medicine,” and Rocky Whatule is just what the doctor ordered.
