Sensational SciFest features hands-on experiences with real-life scientists in a free community event that celebrates science and art in a comfortable and safe environment.Designed around children with sensory sensitivities and other special needs, we offer a sensory friendly event that’s fun for everyone.
Not feeling like bright lights or loud sounds? No problem! We have our exhibits clearly marked so you know what to expect. Plus, all of our scientists and event-day volunteers are CARD trained to engage with sensory-sensitive kids. They can help you and your family navigate the fun or make your way to a calming zone if needed.
