After the long standing international success of David Scheel’s flagship show, Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only the Piano Player, and its sequel, Mad Maestros, comes David’s first wholly new show in 8 years. Growing Old Ungracefully is a hilarious take on the ageing process, a personal view as David’s own hair begins to change colour! Nothing is sacred: health issues, dodgy product labelling, scammers targeting older people, even the taboos of sex, religion and politics! This is high class, sophisticated and witty comedy from an older person with a very sharp, young mind.
And among it all, David’s trademark brilliance on the piano intersperses all the fun with beautiful music. This is a show not to be missed.
