In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD), we are offering a free education day for the Northam community. In the morning session, we will talk about what Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) and Enduring Power of Guardianship (EPG) is, and what you need to think about before getting one. Plus, why everyone needs a Will.After lunch we will explore the common types of financial elder abuse and how to recognise the warning signs. Learn more about how to spot scams and how to protect yourself.
This session is ideal for everyone including seniors, carers, and anyone over 18 years old.
10-11.30am - Enduring Power of Attorney/Guardianship and Wills
11.30-12pm - Free Clothing Available by Thread Together
12-12.30pm - Lunch provided for registered attendees
12.30-1.30pm - Preventing Financial Abuse and Avoiding Scams
