Calling all nature-loving seniors! 🌲👟Join us for free Wednesday hikes through the beautiful Rum Village Woods! This event is specially designed for those 55 years and older, so feel free to share with a senior you know who enjoys a good walk in the woods!
With nearly three miles of scenic, hilly trails right within city limits, you'll experience:
🌳 Majestic old trees
🌺 Beautiful wildflowers
🦉 Fascinating birds and other wildlife
📜 A touch of local history
Important Tips:
👟 Wear appropriate footwear – trails can be muddy!
🌧 If too muddy, we'll hike along the park road instead.
Come early to explore the nature center exhibits, observe birds and small mammals in the auditorium, and use the restroom.
🚫 No cost for this program – just bring your love for nature and a spirit of adventure!
