About this Event

FILTERED, BUT NOT REAL?

Is your teen completely at ease behind a screen — confident captions, quick comments, at home in front of an audience of followers but goes quiet, avoids eye contact or blanks the moment they have to say something true and unscripted out loud? Would they rather text through a disagreement than have the conversation? Freeze up in a during school events or a college admissions interview but sound perfectly alright to articulate in a group chat?

By this age, most of their self-presentation has happened online — edited, deleted, reposted until it looked right. The gap between that curated voice and their real one shows up exactly when it matters most: a university interview, a first job, a moment to lead. Our Senior Track is built to close it before they need it closed.

Through our LET framework, ages 15–18 learn to:

LOOK INWARD — Opportunities for deep self-reflection and authentic storytelling. Draw on real identity, beliefs and life experience that is not just the highlight reel but to find a story that's genuinely theirs.

EMPOWER — Strengthen mindset, leadership presence and personal conviction. Challenge the fear of being judged unscripted, build resilience, and develop a leadership voice that isn't a performance in a safe space.

TELL MY STORY — Trade the curated post for something said out loud, unedited that actually connects. Using our HOTTA framework, participants develop and deliver a TED-style talk built on critical thinking and a genuine point of view.

About Let Them Speak™

Every young person has a voice worth hearing, including the one they haven't said out loud yet. Many teens this age have sharp ideas and real convictions but between the pressure to look put-together online and the fear of being judged in an unscripted moment - that voice often stays behind a screen. Let Them Speak™ exists to help them bring it into the room. Our goal isn't a flawless TED talk but helping every participant walk away knowing: My voice matters, My story matters, I matter and I can say so unscripted in front of people whose opinion actually counts. Whether your teen is confident online or quietly reserved in person we meet them at their real comfort level, not their online one.

How are we different from other public speaking workshops?

We are not coaching performance technique or competition wins. Let Them Speak™gives teens a genuine space to find and test an authentic point of view. The kind that has to hold up during times where it matters such as a college interview or a job interview, not just a captioned post.

What we provide:

• 2 day physical bootcamp (9.00am to 5.30pm)
• A safe and inclusive platform to stand up and be heard on 14 November

• 3 x 1hour one-to-one online coaching
• Up to 5 x use of AI Moodie to review and provide immediate feedback for uploaded videos
