Lily Pad Pottery's Senior Art Time is designed to be flexible and easygoing, perfect for those looking for a relaxed environment.Here’s how it works:
Drop-in Format: There’s no need to reserve a spot or adhere to a strict schedule. Simply drop in anytime between 12 pm and 3 pm. This allows you to enjoy the activity at your own pace, whether you want to spend an hour or the entire afternoon.
Weekly Art Projects: Each week, a different pottery piece is selected for participants to paint. This keeps the experience fresh and engaging, offering a variety of items like mugs, bowls, ornaments, or small decorative pieces. For just $10, you’ll have everything you need to complete that week’s project.
Relaxed Atmosphere: The focus of Senior Art Time is on relaxation and creativity. You can paint freely while chatting with others, enjoying a social, friendly environment. There’s no rush, and no prior experience is necessary.
Community & Connection: This is also a great chance to mingle with other seniors, share stories, and even pick up a few painting tips. Many participants come for the social aspect just as much as for the art. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with new friends while expressing your creativity.
Take Your Time & Your Art: Once you’re finished painting, leave your piece to be fired, and it should be ready in about a week at which time you’ll leave with a beautifully completed piece of art to keep for yourself or gift to someone special.
