Join us for Dementia Live®, a powerful and interactive experience designed to build empathy and understanding of the cognitive and sensory challenges faced by individuals living with dementia. This high-impact immersion offers an inside-out perspective that transforms how participants perceive, communicate with, and support those affected by dementia.Presented by Jennifer Lasley, Director of Information and Community Services, and Kim Walter, CARE Coordinator, this session equips attendees with practical tools and strategies to inspire meaningful, compassionate change in everyday interactions.
Program Length: 60 minutes (includes a 30-minute interactive experience)
Location: Derby Public Library, Community Room
Light refreshments will be served.
This program is part of the Fall Prevention Coalition’s free Senior Series, which meets on the second Thursday of each month and offers informative programs for older adults and our community.
