We will meet at the 2nd shelterhouse (past the restrooms) and begin promptly at 9 a.m. We will be on pavement and then a dirt trail. We will hike up a slight hill (or 2 stone staircases) with the option to wait below at a bench and picnic table and rest.
Depending on attendees, we will hike to the creek crossing and decide to cross it and loop in the cemetery or loop back at that point.
There will be historical points of interest along the 1.5 mile hike. (half a mile longer if we loop in the cemetery).
Consider bringing - a hiking stick, a light backpack for water and snack and binoculars.
No Dogs if planning on looping in the cemetery. Wear good hiking shoes or boots and bug spray.
