HOMEFULL, The Agency that oversees the SENIOR FARMERS MARKET NUTRITION PROGRAM will be at XARSC on this date from 12:30-2:30 p.m. with a informational table about the program and can enroll you (60+ and income eligible) if you havent already. The SFMNP is made possible by funding from the United States Department of Agriculture, state and local funding.
Seniors 60+ that meet income requirements (see below) can apply for a FREE $50 card to be used at a local participating Farmers Market. SFMNP ELIGIBILITY: A 1 person hshld: $2,412 month/less. A 2 person hshld: $3,260 month/less. A husband and wife can BOTH apply for a card as long as BOTH are 60+ and their combined monthly income is below the 2 person hshld amount!
The only FULL MARKET in Greene County that accepts the card is Jacksons Farm Market: 2931 U.S, RTE 68 South/Xenia. Mon.-Sat. 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays Noon-6
