At the Lincoln Trail Area Development District, we believe that aging should be celebrated, not just managed!Join us for our favorite day of the year, the annual Senior Celebration. This beloved FREE tradition brings together hundreds of seniors from across our eight-county region for a day of fellowship, fun, and empowerment. This year, we’re taking it back to the ’60s for a groovy good time, so feel free to dress the part.
This event is more than just a party, it is a cornerstone of our mission to combat senior isolation. It’s a day where our seniors aren't just recipients of services, they are our guests of honor.
What to Expect:
🕺 Live Entertainment & Dancing: Hit the dance floor or enjoy the music.
🏆 Recognition Ceremony: We’re honoring our regional volunteers and active seniors who prove service has no age limit.
🩺 Health & Wellness Hub: A one-stop shop featuring health screenings, local vendors, and community organizations.
🍎 Expert Resources: Speak with our LTADD CASE Team or SHIP counselors and other area experts to learn about new Medicare benefits and local resources.
🎁 Fun & Games: Door prizes, themed decorations, and a classic game of Bingo!
🚌 Transportation:
Don't let a lack of a ride keep you away! If you are a senior in need of transportation to the event, please call CKCATS at 800-242-8225 to arrange for service.
