Expect an upbeat day filled with useful information, engaging activities, and face-to-face connections for older adults and family caregivers.
Featured activities include booths, free educational presentations, and resources from the United Way of Central Alabama Area Agency on Aging; no-cost health screenings aboard the UAB Live HealthSmart Alabama Mobile Wellness truck, with a $10 Mobile Market voucher for each attendee who completes a screening; and a lively line-dance and senior exercise demonstration by the Sixth Avenue Sliders at 11 AM. Wear your sneakers and join the fun.
