Join us for a lively discussion about The Collector of Burned Books by Roseanna M. White. This is a book about a Christina historical fiction novel set in Nazi-occupied Paris during WWII, focusing on two book lovers, Corinne Bastien and German professor Christian Bauer, who form an unlikely alliance to protect banned books from destruction. The story, inspired by a real "library of burned books" in Paris, explores themes of literature, freedom, and faith as they navigate the dangers of preserving truth against an oppressive regime. The Senior Book Club meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. To request a reasonable accommodation for any type of disability, please call 928-213-2330. Three days prior notice is requested.
