About this Event

Join us for a Community Art Mural event designed to bring together youth and seniors in a meaningful and creative way! This drop-in event encourages participants to build community connections, foster a sense of belonging, and celebrate the unique value each generation brings to our community.

No painting experience needed! Just wear clothes that can get messy. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to connect and create together!

This event is hosted by Foothills Local Immigration Partnership (FLIP) and Foothills Community Immigrant Services (FCIS), and is partnertship with the Town of Okotoks Recreation and Youth Centre. The event is funded by Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)

We are excited to welcome guest artist and project facilitator Russell Thomas!

Russell, previously served as President of the Okotoks Art Councill and is deeply involved in local arts community. Russel owns Birdsong Studios in High River and volunteers often throughout the Foothills and internationally.
