Monday: Travel Day
Tuesday Morning: Meet & Greet and Devotional with Pastor Clint Pressley, Southern Baptist Convention President and Senior Pastor of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC.
Tuesday Afternoon: Tour the Billy Graham Library & Museum.
Wednesday Morning: Visit MAYBERRY, USA in Mount Airy, NC, hometown of Andy Griffith. We will visit the Mayberry courthouse/jail and downtown shops and café, and tour the town in Sheriff Taylor & Deputy Barney Fife’s squad car (in groups of 4).
Wednesday afternoon: Tour the Samaritan’s Purse warehouse in Boone, NC.
Thursday morning: Tour the North Carolina Museum of Transportation, highlighting North Carolina’s important transportation history including railroading, automotive, aviation, and more. Tour includes a 25-minute train ride and a visit to the largest remaining railroad roundhouse in North America.
Thursday afternoon: Travel Home.
Accommodations will be at the Drury Inn & Suites Charlotte Northlake, and includes free breakfast AND supper!
Cost for the trip will be $275/person (double occupancy) plus 1 meal per day. (single occupancy room available for $475)
