Welcome to the 12th Annual Protective Services 5K! Lace up your running shoes and join us for a fun-filled event at Hedges-Boyer Park American Legion Shelter. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a casual jog, this 5K is perfect for all fitness levels. WAIVER: In consideration of this entry being accepted, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns waive and release any and all claims for damages including consequential, I may have against the Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services, the sponsors, the race committee, race officials, and their representatives, successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me or my child athlete at this race. I certify that the athlete has trained sufficiently to participate in this race. I assume all risks associated with participation of this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and humidity, traffic, and the conditions of the road. I also give permission for the free use of my name and picture in any broadcast, telecast, website or print media account of this event. NOTICE: the racecourse will include streets that WILL NOT be closed to traffic. You are responsible for the safety of yourself and your children during this race and you must be cautious of traffic on and around the racecourse.
