This year, we are thrilled to highlight an extraordinary athlete from our community, Sara Doughty, who has been selected as one of only two athletes from Arizona to compete in Powerlifting at the prestigious 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.

In June 2026, Sara will represent our state in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she will compete against top powerlifters from across the nation. As one of only 121 athletes chosen from Arizona and the sole representative from Mohave County, Sara's achievement is nothing short of remarkable. We couldn't be prouder, and now we invite you to join us in supporting her journey by helping us reach her fundraising goal.
