COMSOL Multiphysics® is a general-purpose simulation software, finding applications in various fields of engineering, manufacturing, and scientific research. It offers fully coupled multiphysics and single-physics modeling capabilities, along with model management and user-friendly tools for constructing simulation APPs.
In this seminar, we will examine some typical simulation models and applications in academic research utilizing COMSOL Multiphysics®. Following this, we will look at new functions introduced with the release of version 6.3, which include new simulation capabilities, significant performance boosts and user interface updates. We will conclude the session with a technical discussion focusing on current researches at the department.
We cordially invite physicists, engineers and researchers at the department to attend. This session aims to provide an insightful exploration of simulation in academia, and how simulation may help further scientific inquiry.
