Can climate positive tech make profit? Join startup founders and innovative industry players to find out.
About this Event

"Climate tech isn't profitable. Impact doesn't make money."

That's the message startup founders hear every day — while they're out there proving it wrong: uncovering the innovations that don't cost the planet, and building the case that green can be profitable.

But founders can't do it alone. It takes industry players willing to back new ideas, test new approaches, and back the founders taking the risk.

Join us for a live conversation on unlocking economic value that works for people and planet — with startup founders and industry leaders who are already doing it. We'll hear from Shane Keating, CEO of CounterCurrent, before opening the floor: put your questions to the panel, then keep the conversation going over networking with founders, industry, and fellow attendees.

📅 22 September | ⏰ 1 :00pm - 4:00pm | 📍 level 3/180 George St, Sydney NSW 2000

For the last ten years, Spark Festival has been Australia's largest network of startup founders, investors and supporters. In 2026, we're gearing up for something even bigger – with regular events across Tech Central throughout the year, a blockbuster festival week starting 21 September 2026, and new opportunities to give back to the startup ecosystem.

By connecting industry with investment, engineering expertise, advanced manufacturing capability, and R&D capability, TRaCE helps climate technologies bridge the gap between the lab and the market.
