Sell It Before You Build It: How First-Time Founders Land First Customers
About this Event
Event Description
Most first-time founders spend months building before anyone has agreed to buy. This session flips that. Dave will share real stories from 20+ years in sales and 12 years running his own company on how to validate an idea by selling it, find the buyer who actually has the need, handle your first "no," and price your first deal.
Bring your idea; we'll work through it live.
About the Presenter
Dave Carberry is the founder of Enradius, a geo-targeted digital advertising company he launched in 2014, and Local Ad Networks, which connects advertisers with trusted local media in every state. Before starting his own company, Dave spent nearly 20 years in broadcast and local media sales, including national radio sales and time at Scripps. He is the author of Stop Networking, Start Needworking and a Towson University alumnus. Dave has built his companies the way he teaches founders to: by selling first.
