This program will teach you how to protect yourself against various hand-to-hand attacks, such as shirt, hand, and hair grabs. Students will learn to defend themselves against chokes and strikes. No previous experience in martial arts is required. Instructors have over 15 years of experience being fourth-degree black belts in Tae Kwon Do, as well as instructors in Commando Krav Maga. All students need to bring is water and wear comfortable workout clothes, as this is an active program. Students must be at least 16 to attend, 12 if accompanied by a parent (both must be registered). Program fee is $10 per student. Pre-registration required at washtenaw.org/registerparks. Activity #IL441103. This program will take place outside.
