Self Defense Pistol 2 is a fasted paced intensive course designed with lots of movement without giving up good shooting fundamentals. Accuracy under stress with movement is emphasized in SDP2.
Self Defense Pistol 2 is designed for the individual who has a solid foundation of tactics and techniques for self defense with handgun. If you have never done the skills in my Fighting Pistol 1 course you may want to start there. For Self Defense Pistol 2 you can run the course from concealment, a gun belt, or fully kitted with body armor. Run it how you want to fight.
The topics covered in SDP2 will consist of one handed shooting, movement skills and application of movement, movement to cover, moving and shooting, shooting from the ground, transitional ground positions, accuracy at distance, concepts and application of cover.
Required Gear:
- Handgun
- Holster: Strong side draw holster. No small of back, ankle, shoulder, cross draw.
- Strong belt
- 600 rounds ammunition
- 5 magazines or more
- magazine pouch
- inert training rounds for your caliber handgun.
- eye protection
- ear protection
- water
- lunch - Blue trail has a restaurant on site. We have 45 minutes for lunch.
- closed toe shoes and cloths appropriate for the weather.

If you need inert training rounds you can order them on my website. If you show up without them I will sell you them at the range the day of the class.
