In this self-defense class, participants will learn the tactics and techniques to build their confidence and strength - literally, you'll break boards! Did you know that the force required to break a pine board is roughly equivalent to breaking a human rib?! We will cover self-awareness, how to command respect in the spaces you inhabit, and finding inner and outer strength that will help alter your perspective on your life and how you interact with others. Cost is $7 per registration; open to kids, adults, and seniors between the ages of 8 to 80. You'll be in good hands at Unity Martial Arts, where the four head instructors have more than 130 years of combined teaching and training experience. Be aware, feel prepared, and enjoy life!
