Shy and just starting out in martial arts? Train with Lara Jones, state certified teacher and martial artist of 20 years to cultivate your inner assertiveness! Play games and engage in light drills that encourage positive situational awareness and personal safety habits. Student input will be taken into consideration in curriculum planning, and welcome throughout. Nobody will be pressured to do anything they do not care to engage in. These classes are designed to meet beginners where they are at, and are both practical, and extremely fun!
Appropriate for ages 10 and up. Mixed-age groups @ differently sized people of various backgrounds - is best! If you can’t make all three days, that’s okay; just let us know, so we can open up any possible spots to others please.
Sliding scale from $0-$20 online. If you care to pay more, it will be applied to paying outside instructors with the Tween/Teen Summer Electives Program.
