Drum Dance Journey & Sound Healing

Michelle will lead you on a powerful journey of movement, rhythm, voice, and deep relaxation. We begin with an uplifting Drum Dance Journey, where the heartbeat of the drum and the power of live singing invite you to move freely, awaken your energy, and reconnect with your body. There are no steps to learn—simply allow the rhythm to guide you. The hypnotic beat of the drum can help quiet the mind, release tension, shift stagnant energy, and leave you feeling joyful, empowered, and alive. After the dance, you'll be invited to lie down and drift into a deeply nourishing Sound Healing. This blissful experience is designed to help you relax, restore, and let go of the stresses of everyday life held within the body, mind, emotions, and energy field. Be immersed in a rich tapestry of healing sounds including, shamanic drum and recorder, koshi bells, kalimba, mantra singing, sacred vocals, and angelic tones. Each instrument is carefully woven together to create a deeply restorative experience for your mind, body, and soul. Come as you are, move as you feel, and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply reconnected.

Chanting lifts the spirit and reconnects us to our heart centre. It's a well-known fact that singing mantras has a very positive impact on mental health, by reducing the levels of stress. Join us for this amazing, uplifting, and joyful singing meditation known as kirtan. Mantras are sung in a mixture of Sanskrit - which is an ancient Indian language with a high vibration and also some English. No previous experience in Sanskrit or singing required...all are welcome. Singing Mantras are from the path of Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion, pure love and compassion ..... especially for yourself) They produce healing vibrations that take you out of your busy mind and connect you to your heart. This can create oneness with those around you and integrate your mind, body and spirit. Heal, relax and re-energise through the power of sharing your authentic voice. The invitation is to sing, play percussion, meditate, dance or just bathe in the sounds.

With love

Michelle

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲

Originally from an opera and musical theatre background, Michelle embarked on an amazing journey of self-discovery through bhakti yoga and sound healing. She fell in love with the practices many years ago and hasn't looked back since. Michelle is a multi-instrumentalist and a versatile singer who originally began as a kirtan drummer and backing vocalist. She then achieved her dream of composing and recording an album of mantras, titled Journey of The Heart. Michelle loves to teach, lead kirtans, hold sound healing and ecstatic drum dance events, and has never been more fulfilled. She loves to take people on a magical, healing journey through using her voice and intuitive music, and is grateful she has found her soul purpose.
