SELECTOR DJ COMP - HEAT 2Brisbane’s DJ's this is your moment. SELECTOR is The Brightside’s new DJ competition designed to uncover the city’s best crowd-moving selectors, with $5,000 cash up for grabs.
Across a series of heat nights starting Wednesday May 6th, DJs will each take over the decks for a 20-minute set each. There are no genre rules, house, hip hop, drum & bass, techno, disco, pop edits, throwbacks, metal remixes… anything goes. If you can win over the room, you’re in with a shot.
The heats are decided by crowd votes. At least 1 Dj from every heat will go through to the final. Crowd support matters, so round up the crew.
The top performers from each heat will advance to the Grand Final at Brightside Outdoors, where the stakes get higher. The winner will be decided by a combined vote - 50% judges panel and 50% crowd vote.
One DJ will take home $5,000 cash and the title of SELECTOR.
No genre limits.
No rules on style.
Just one goal, win the crowd.
