Modern/Contemporary Art & Design -- Featuring an important Contemporary Art collection offering over 75 major works, including museum exhibited pieces, by Adam Fuss, Daisy Youngblood, Donald Baechler, Tom Otterness, Susan Rothenberg and James Brown. Art and artifacts from the estate of legendary artist Philip Pearlman, includes artworks by and collected by the artist. Modern and Contemporary designs from a CPW penthouse include period furniture by Jean-Michel Frank and Andre Sornay, custom contemporary designs by architect Annabell Seldorf, Picasso art glass, and a large group of rare modernist Georg Jensen silver. Other art and design highlights include works by Jeff Koons, Lucie Rie, Nakashima, Karl Springer, and lighting by Arredoluce, Fontana Arte, and Emile-Jacque Ruhlmann.

The sale also includes superb Chinese porcelains and jades from a private Sutton Place, NYC collection, as well as Tiffany Studios lamps and rare examples of early Tiffany silver. Important American Chippendale furniture, and a large selection of Native American objects come from various collections including Apache baskets, rugs and a rare Tlingit ceremonial blanket.
