The most surprising concert experience of the fall will take place at the House of Nobility (Ritarihuone) on Thursday September 19th at 7 PM. Guiding you through this musical autumn journey are the vocal ensembles SEIM Ensemble and inTones.
The event is part of the Choral Music Concert Series.

SEIM Ensemble
SEIM Ensemble is a group of old friends and musicians from Helsinki founded in 2020. All singers have a strong background in music – most members of the group have sung with each other since their high school years in the Sibelius Upper Secondary School. The ensemble's repertoire covers all historical periods including mixed choir repertoire sung by male voices new male choir music as well as the singers' own compositions.
In 2021 SEIM Ensemble performed in the International Leevi Madetoja Male Voice Choir Competition winning the second prize in the international series. In 2022 the group made its opera debut at the Helsinki Music Centre as the men's chorus in Mozart's Zauberflöte. In 2023 Tampereen Sävel awarded the ensemble with two gold stamps in an international review.
The artistic director of SEIM Ensemble is Riku Miettunen. In addition Miettunen leads Male Voice Choir Alvar and sings in the professional choir Tampere Cappella.
inTones
inTones is a vocal group formed by five young singers from Helsinki in 2017. The group performs a wide range of songs with a strong presence from joyful tunes to more solemn pieces.
Over the years the group has performed at various events such as weddings Christmas parties charity concerts and their own concerts as part of the “Saimaan kauneimmat sävelet” music festival from 2019 to 2021. A Christmas tradition has been established with their atmospheric Christmas concerts at the Kirpilä Art Home.
In June 2019 inTones was recognized as the most promising young group at the Tampere Vocal Music Festival. In the fall of 2023 the group worked on their interpretation of the song "En etsi valtaa loistoa" for Yle's "Musiikkia Kuvina" series which features new versions of Finnish classic melodies by young musicians.
