Seeing The Now - Mindful Photography

Join Ines, experienced photographer and founder of Seeing The Now, for a workshop where photography and mindfulness come together to explore connection and presence.

This gentle, meditative practice offers a chance to rest the thinking mind and reconnect with the present moment. Mindful photography invites a deeper appreciation of nature and the environment while fostering relaxation, clarity, and receptiveness.

We will meet at Bridgend Farmhouse before heading to Craigmillar Woods, a beautiful setting for our visual exploration. By slowing down, noticing, and becoming fully present, participants are invited to use photography as a tool to awaken fresh perception. After the woodland walk, we will return to Bridgend Farmhouse for a short closing debrief, with the option to share thoughts, feelings, images—or simply listen.

No prior technical skills are required. Participants are welcome to bring their own camera or use the camera on their mobile phone. All weather offers something to our mindful photography practice—often, the most unexpected conditions reveal the richest moments of seeing. As the workshop will be held primarily outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather!
