Seeing the Body Differently:
A Nervous System-Informed Approach to Assessment & Treatment
**A Two-Day Immersion for Massage Therapists & Bodyworkers**
16 Hours Continuing Education
$395
Most continuing education teaches new techniques.
This workshop teaches a new way of thinking.
If you've ever left a continuing education class excited about a new technique, only to find yourself wondering *when* to use it—or *why* it worked with one client but not another—this workshop was designed for you.
Instead of adding more techniques to your toolbox, we'll develop the clinical reasoning that helps you confidently decide where to begin, what to do next, and how to adapt treatment based on the body's response.
Throughout the weekend, you'll learn to see the body as an integrated, adaptive system rather than a collection of isolated muscles, joints, and symptoms.
Together we'll explore how the nervous system continuously coordinates movement, muscle tone, protection, and adaptation—and how manual therapy provides meaningful sensory information that can influence the way the body organizes itself.
You'll learn to ask different questions.
Instead of:
**"Where does it hurt?"**
We'll begin asking:
**"How is this body organizing itself?"**
**"What strategy is the body using?"**
**"Where is the Point of Greatest Influence?"**
This shift changes everything.
## During This Workshop You'll Learn How To:
• Assess the body through observation before your hands ever make contact.
• Recognize protective strategies instead of simply identifying tight muscles.
• Improve your clinical reasoning and decision-making.
• Understand the relationship between the nervous system, the fascial network, movement, breathing, and muscle tone.
• Identify potential Points of Greatest Influence rather than chasing symptoms.
• Use rhythmic somatic rocking, joint mobilization, muscle lengthening, and manual therapy as purposeful sensory input.
• Continuously reassess and adapt treatment based on the body's response.
• Approach complex presentations with greater confidence and curiosity.
## This Is Not...
• A protocol to memorize.
• A sequence of techniques.
• A routine you'll perform on every client.
## This Is...
A different way of observing.
A different way of asking questions.
A different way of making clinical decisions.
A different conversation with the human body.
This workshop is highly interactive and includes live demonstrations, guided discussions, hands-on partner practice, clinical reasoning exercises, and real-world case studies.
You'll leave with more than new techniques.
You'll leave seeing the body differently.
