Join sound and lighting professional Scott Kennedy for a fun and informative workshop, demystifying the areas of light and sound for theatre.
This workshop is aimed at Directors, Stage Managers, Set Designers, Costumers, Prop Masters, Actors or other members of the theatre community looking to get a basic understanding of how theatrical sound and lighting works.
By the end of the workshop, you will have a strong foundation of what can be done, what can’t be done, the limitations of sound and light and the exciting possibilities and potential that a creative eye for sound and lighting can create.
There will be ample hands-on opportunities to work with mics, mixing desks, sound effects, music, lights, lighting design and computer-controlled sounds and lighting software.
