About this Event
Join us for a book launch, exhibition and short talk about a collaborative photography project made by a group of Amazigh women in the Ziz valley, in the Sahara desert, Morocco.
Timed to coincide with COP29, the exhibition will feature powerful visual narratives created by the women to showcase the devastating effects of climate change on their lives and livelihoods. The event will also launch an image-led policy book, created by academics from the University of Lincoln, The Open University, and Université Hassan II de Casablanca and published by Emerald Publishing.
This event marks the start of the next phase of the 'Seeing Change' project, aiming to amplify the women’s voices and advocate for climate justice. The project team will deliver a short talk about the project at 5.30pm and will be available to answer questions.
