Seedy Jeezus melts together 60s Psych, 70s Rock, and Blues in some meticulously crafted jams, based on a solid and groovy structure, they always keep enough room to space out and let Lex's face-melting maestria take it to another level, soloing and drifting into the unknown 🫠🚀
The band formed more than 10 years ago, and have released 2 full-length studio albums, 3 live albums, two collaborative albums with Isaiah Mitchell (Earthless) under the name of Tranquonauts, as well as a bunch of 7” singles and CD EPs. Seedy Jeezus emerged post-Covid (in the most locked-down city in the world, Melbourne) and had a party inviting friends over to celebrate the end of the extreme measures placed upon the city and recorded a double live album - The Hollow Earth - featuring older material and new material that will feature on the next studio album, as well as a mindblowing cover of Voodoo Chile. 🤯☄️

In the tropics it is dangerous. It is loud, dirty, and hectic. Everywhere a staccato, a fuzz, a hiss, no breathing space.
Rock and funk are the pillars. And then, of course, some phonic 60s and … and … a threatening rotating noise.
