Winter Sowing is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to grow so many beautiful and habitat friendly plants for your landscape. Community members have been collecting, sharing and preparing the seeds of 150 native wildflower species so that we all can grow them. These plants help pollinators, butterflies, birds, and all the other creatures of our neighborhood. We hope you will try it out and experience growing Michigan in your own space. This community event is donation based, open to the public, and is one of the warmest ways you can spend a weekend in January.
