The East West University Economics Club proudly presents "𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡", a competition where young minds come together to cultivate innovative economic ideas and transform them into meaningful policy insights.
Participating teams will first receive instructions and guidance before they develop a written policy brief that proposes practical, evidence-based solutions to real challenges in Bangladesh’s agricultural sector—ranging from climate resilience and agricultural finance to agro-technology, food security and rural entrepreneurship. After a competitive review process, top teams will be invited to pitch their ideas before a distinguished judging panel.
The event will also feature a panel discussion where experts from policy, academia, agriculture and the innovation industry will engage in a dialogue on the future of Bangladesh’s agricultural economy. The program will conclude with a prize giving ceremony followed by a cultural segment, celebrating the deep connection between land, livelihood and national identity.

Briefing session for participants covering competition structure, evaluation rubrics and policy writing guidelines. Topics will be provided after the workshop.

Written Policy Brief Submission Deadline: Participants are required to submit a concise written policy brief based on the provided case. The brief should clearly present their analysis of the issue along with well-structured and practical policy recommendations. This submission will reflect the participants’ ability to evaluate the case, propose effective solutions, and communicate their ideas in a clear and professional manner.

Top 8–10 teams will advance to the final round. Results will be declared via email of the TEAM LEADER.
