Seeds of Change Summit

The devastating wildfires that swept through Los Angeles in early January serve as a stark reminder of the climate crisis and its disproportionate impact on frontline communities. As these fires reshaped landscapes and lives, they also reignited the urgency for grassroots action and systemic change.

At the 2025 Seeds of Change Summit at UCLA, we gather to transform crisis into collective action. This summit will bring together over 400 high school and college-age youth leaders from across California who are on the frontlines of the climate crisis, particularly BIPOC youth from low-income communities.

Through youth-led workshops, organizing sessions, and coalition-building opportunities, participants will explore & share the tools and support necessary to lead the fight for environmental justice in their communities. The summit will also serve as a space for healing, joy, and resilience—recognizing that climate justice is not only about resisting harm but also about envisioning and creating a future where our communities can thrive.
