Join us in the lobby of North Suffolk Library Saturday, January 31st, from noon - 2:00 for Gardening talks, education booths, seeds, prizes, and fun for all!Everyone who attends can go home with 5 packages of seed donated by Suffolk's Master Gardeners.
Bring packaged seed to swap to go home with more!

What seed you can bring to swap:
- Pre-packaged commercial seed up to three years old.
- Re-packaged commercial seed up to three years old or seed you've harvested within the last three years, dried, and packaged. Use envelopes, clean recycled jars or pill bottles, or even origami envelopes. (We'll share some templates.) Label with the common name, scientific name if you know it, when you harvested it, and growing information. Add your name if you'd like!
What seed you cannot bring to swap:
- Any plants on Virginia's Invasive Species List found at https://www.dcr.virginia.gov/natural-heritage/document/nh-invasive-plant-list-2023.pdf.
Any seeds that are wet, moldy, have been stored in excessive heat, or are older than three years.
