Calling all backyard gardeners and seed growers! Come learn the basics of seed saving at a fun workshop on Sunday, September 14th, with the Humboldt Permaculture Guild (HPG) and Organic Seed Alliance (OSA).
It will be hosted in the school gardens at Redwood Coast Montessori Garden, 1275 8th St, Arcata, CA 95521
Levon Durr (HPG Board President) and Molly Travis (OSA California Program Associate) will co-present the basics of seed saving, covering topics like harvesting, cleaning, and storing seeds from common garden plants and agricultural crops. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided during breaks.
