Luna Mia Farm & Persephone Market Garden, Grey County (Southwestern Ontario)
Join us as we visit two inspiring seed-producing farms in Grey County. The day begins at Luna Mia Farm, where Rony Lec and Myriam Legault will lead a tour focused on traditional grain and seed crops, followed by a hands-on seed harvesting and/or cleaning activity.
After a packed picnic lunch and time to connect with fellow participants, we’ll head to Persephone Market Garden. Kristine Hammel will guide us through their market garden, including a growing for seed, sharing her experience producing seeds on contract alongside a fresh vegetable CSA.
