Seed Gathering Day

Join Nancy Evans from Coed y Tor Trees to gather seeds, learn about how to grow them and take a potted one home with you!
About this Event

Join us for a free guided walk around Porthkerry Country Park woodlands, where we will celebrate the Tree Council's Seed Gathering Season - the period when seeds, nuts, and fruits are ripe and ready for collection to germinate and grow in the following Spring.

We will collect a range of seeds, learn how to process them ready for stratifying and choose your favourite to plant and take home with you!

All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note car park charges apply.
