(A farewell hang for the Bunnies before we hop across the country.)
The Bunny clan is officially migrating. New state. New chapter. Same amount of snacks required for survival. WA has been home for ages. Bunny has lived here basically since the dinosaurs. I’ve been here eleven years which feels like three lifetimes in human time.
This next move is huge for both of us. His whole history is here. Mine has been a mix of memories, plot twists, and people I met accidentally and then kept around on purpose.
Before we all get emotional, here are the plans:
Clancy’s Freo, 28/12, 12:30 to 4 pm
Outside seating. Playground close enough that the kids can run free while we supervise with the usual “I’m watching you” face from a safe sipping distance.
Come for a drink, a hug, a laugh, or to catch the Bunnies in their natural habitat one last time before we hop off. Stay five minutes. Stay three hours. I booked for eighteen because people love to pop in and out and bounce around however they want.
Show up if it feels good.
Skip it if it doesn’t. Zero guilt. We’re leaving, not doing roll call.

AJ and I head to QLD mid-January.
Bunny follows later in the year once he finishes his Farewell Tour of WA.
