Securitas Event Security Hiring Event

Securitas Canada is hiring 140 Event Security Guards for a major event in Toronto from July 15–25, 2026. This is a temporary contract position offering $19.00 per hour with opportunities for flexible shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Event Security Guards will be responsible for crowd management, access control, bag checks, ticket and wristband verification, foot patrols, emergency response support, and providing excellent customer service to event attendees. Successful candidates will work closely with event organizers, emergency services, and VIP protection teams to help maintain a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexible availability throughout the event period

Previous event security experience is an asset but not required, making this a great opportunity for both experienced security professionals and individuals looking to start a career in the security industry.
