Join Kahal B’raira for meaningful and uplifting High Holiday services. Kahal B’raira’s non-theistic liturgy is rooted in Jewish tradition, and draws on our Humanistic beliefs that each of us has a responsibility to ourselves and our community to build a better world. Together we will reflect on the past year, draw inspiration from each other, and celebrate the year to come!
This family-friendly service will include songs, responsive readings, a member reflection on the themes of the holiday, and the shofar. Part way through the service, there will be a breakout activity geared towards young kids. Kahal B’raira’s liturgy is mostly in English, with some songs and blessings in Hebrew. All Hebrew is transliterated, and customs are explained.
Services takes place at First Parish UU, Arlington, and on Zoom.
