Join us to explore the mysterious world between the tides. Recreation Program Specialist Jenni Remillard will guide you through how tides work and what lives along our rocky shore. She’ll share adaptations these interesting creatures have to withstand the harsh environment of crashing waves, hot sun, and determined predators. Participants will also learn where along the central coast to find good tidepool viewing and how to keep themselves and tidepool creatures safe while they explore. Food available! The lecture starts at 6pm, but doors open at 5:30 for anyone who wants to order dinner delivered from Siren's Lure Teahouse and Bakery. Menu and prices will be added below soon. You will be able to add your menu choices on during registration.
This presentation is otherwise free to attend if you are not ordering food.
