Many of us have visited Bardstown for the distilleries, but there’s more to the Bourbon Capitol of the World than a stop on the way to the area's storied distilleries. Our spirited adult scavenger hunt will have you and your fellow enthusiasts meandering through the picturesque streets of downtown Bardstown, where historical sites beckon, and bourbon lore lives. You’ll embark on a quest for clues and face fun challenges that reveal the hidden secrets of this quaint town.

What’s a Scavenger Hunt?

Our members have been asking for scavenger hunts for ages! An adult scavenger hunt is like a treasure hunt for grown-ups. It's all about getting together with friends, exploring new places, and having a blast while solving puzzles as a group and completing fun challenges. Whether you're uncovering hidden gems in the city, learning fascinating tidbits about local history, or just enjoying some laughs along the way, a scavenger hunt is a fantastic way to bond and make memories with your fellow adventurers. So grab your pals, put on your comfy shoes, and get ready for an exciting day of discovery and delight!

Highlights Include:

• Historic Talbott Tavern: Discover tales of yesteryear where bourbon barons and outlaws once dined.
• Charming Local Shops: Explore unique boutiques that capture the essence of Bardstown’s vibrant community.
• Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History: Tackle a final challenge amidst the most storied relics in bourbon history. If you’ve never been, the museum is a bourbon lover and historian’s dream.
• Brindiamo Penthouse at Spalding Hall: Celebrate your scavenger hunt triumphs with a finale and cocktail at the home of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival Team, enjoying a toast to success where this year’s World Whiskey Awards judging was held for American whiskies! While there, we’ve got a surprise visit from one of Master Distillers in Bardstown planned from a site important to the history of the city.
