Na meer dan 10 jaar keert een ware techno-legende eindelijk terug naar Groningen. Het is tijd voor Secret Cinema's Hotpot Halloween Extravaganza!
Op zaterdag 1 november transformeert De Loods in een culinair en muzikaal paradijs, waar de grenzen tussen diner en rave vervagen, en je smaakpapillen en je oren tegelijkertijd geprikkeld worden.
Secret Cinema is niet zomaar een DJ; hij is een pionier. Vanaf het begin van de jaren '90 bouwde hij mee aan de fundamenten van de Nederlandse techno. Met zijn platenlabel Gem Records heeft hij een wereldwijde reputatie opgebouwd en is hij verantwoordelijk voor tijdloze klassiekers en het lanceren van de carrières van talloze artiesten. Zijn sets staan bekend om hun melodieuze diepgang en hypnotiserende grooves, een perfecte match voor deze bijzondere avond.
Hotpot: Een Culinair Avontuur uit het Verre Oosten
De avond begint met een unieke primeur: authentieke Chinese hotpot in Groningen. Speciale hotpot-tafels worden naar De Loods gebracht om je de gezamenlijke en smaakvolle traditie te laten ervaren. Dit culinaire concept wordt verzorgd door Marco Duits, een DJ en vinyl-liefhebber die jarenlang in Chengdu woonde, de hotpot-hoofdstad van de wereld, en daar de legendarische technoclub TAG oprichtte. Hij brengt deze ervaring nu naar festivals zoals Wildeburg en Zeezout.
Dit is meer dan alleen eten; het is een unieke 'communal dining experience'. Je zit met acht personen aan een tafel en deelt de hotpot, zoals dat in China traditie is. Kom je met je vriendengroep van acht, dan krijgen jullie je eigen tafel met €5 korting per persoon. Ben je met minder of kom je alleen? Schuif dan gezellig aan bij onbekenden en maak nieuwe vrienden terwijl je samen geniet van de borrelende potten. Na het diner heb je gelijk nieuwe gezichten om mee te raven op de afterparty! Voor vegetariërs en veganisten is er uiteraard ook een speciale tafel beschikbaar.

On Saturday, November 1st, De Loods transforms into a culinary and musical paradise where the boundaries between dinner and rave blur, and your taste buds and ears are stimulated at the same time.
Secret Cinema isn't just a DJ; he's a pioneer. From the early '90s, he helped build the foundations of Dutch techno. With his record label Gem Records, he has built a worldwide reputation and is responsible for timeless classics and launching the careers of countless artists. His sets are known for their melodic depth and hypnotic grooves, a perfect match for this special night.
Hotpot: A Culinary Adventure from the Far East
The evening begins with a unique first: authentic Chinese hotpot in Groningen. Special hotpot tables are being brought to De Loods to let you experience the communal and flavorful tradition. This culinary concept is provided by Marco Duits, a DJ and vinyl enthusiast who lived in Chengdu for years, the hotpot capital of the world, and there founded the legendary techno club TAG. He now brings this experience to festivals like Wildeburg and Zeezout.
This is more than just eating; it's a unique 'communal dining experience'. You sit with eight people at a table and share the hotpot, just as is tradition in China. If you come with your friend group of eight, you get your own table with a €5 discount per person. Are you with fewer people or coming alone? Then feel free to join strangers and make new friends while you enjoy the bubbling pots together. After dinner, you'll have new friends to rave with at the afterparty! For vegetarians and vegans, there is, of course, a special table available.
