Another day trip for us local travelers. We'll carpool from my house in Firestone Park. First we'll drive to the Secrest Arboretum (free), which is a gardens area, near Wooster, that is connected to OSU. There are lots of winding paths through beautiful flowers, plants, etc. So that'll be like a hike which can be short or less short, depending. Restrooms abound.
Then we'll head to quaint downtown Wooster to have lunch and walk around. I know there is a nice used book store, a place that sells incredible balsamic vinegar, thrift stores, etc.
Lastly, we'll drive a few minutes north to Hartzler Dairy, which makes their own ice cream and has other related items that can be purchased. Then back to Akron.
