Second Sunday Brunch at the Historic Old Elder School
Join us in person for a laid-back Second Sunday Brunch at the charming Historic Old Elder School. It's the perfect way to spend your Sunday with great food, good vibes, and a cozy atmosphere. Bring your friends, enjoy the ambiance, and make your Sunday special!
THE MENU
Guests begin with a complimentary Texas Sunrise Mimosa on arrival — prosecco with fresh-squeezed orange juice served the moment they walk through the door.
First course selections include a house Charcuterie Board with artisan cured meats and aged cheeses, Brie en Croûte with fig jam and toasted baguette, or Smoked Salmon with capers, crème fraîche, and house-made blini.
For the main course, guests choose from Britt Benedict — perfectly poached eggs on brioche with Texas-smoked ham and hollandaise — Gulf Shrimp & White Cheddar Grits with sausage cream sauce, or the Signature East Texas Venison Hash, a cast iron wild venison dish crowned with sunny-side eggs that has become the talk of Kilgore before the brunch has even officially opened.
The meal closes with the chef's rotating dessert — honey lavender panna cotta, Texas peach galette, dark chocolate pot de crème, or Texas Pecan Pie with bourbon caramel and Blue Bell vanilla.
