Second Sight Live: An Evening of Performance, Poetry and Conversation

Join poet, speaker and author Carl Peach for the first live performance celebrating the publication of his latest poetry collection, Second Sight.
This is more than a traditional book launch. It's an evening of live poetry, storytelling and spoken word, bringing together a selection of specially invited guest poets alongside readings from Carl's latest collection.
Every poem tells a story. Some will make you smile. Some may move you. One or two might even change the way you see the ordinary.
Whether you're a lifelong lover of poetry or simply curious to experience something different, you'll receive a warm welcome.
The evening will include:
• Readings from Carl Peach's latest poetry collection, Second Sight
• Performances from a number of featured guest poets, to be announced over the coming weeks
• A refreshment interval with time to meet the performers, browse the books and chat with fellow guests
• The opportunity to purchase signed copies of Second Sight
Doors open at 6.30 pm for refreshments and informal networking.
Performances begin promptly at 7.00 pm and conclude at approximately 9.00 pm, followed by the opportunity to continue the conversation with Carl and the featured guest poets over refreshments, have books personally signed and enjoy meeting fellow lovers of poetry and spoken word until around 9.30 pm.
Admission is free, but places are limited and advance booking is essential.
