A gender-bending fantasy dance short.
When Thor's hammer is stolen by his cunning archenemy, the supposedly invincible god must question his concepts of masculinity, otherwise, his world will soon lie in ruins.
THRYMSKVIDA uses elements of dance and animation to tell the story of the theft of Thor's hammer by the giant Thrymr. This humorous tale based on a poem from the Old Icelandic saga collection "Edda" reveals that the questioning of gender stereotypes is not an invention of modern times, but can already be found in sagas compiled in the 13th century.

Six people are performing actions in front of the camera, which they chose regarding their own sexuality - what might be helpful in their current life situation? What is empowering, what calls them, what is enrichening? Looking at vulvas, printing them, an oil ritual, a clearing talk with parents about the lack of sexual education, addressing foot fetish, making love while pregnant, exchanging about penisses, getting tied up, showing themselves to the world and deconstructing shame... A film project about sexual empowerment.
